He was predeceased by: his father James P. Rhein, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Michele Rhein (Burns) of Lansdale; his sisters, Kayleigh N. Grant (Cameron) of Kailua-Kona, HI, Jessica L. Rhein of Cherry Hill, NJ and Julia B. Rhein of Lansdale; his grandmother Barbara Deviney of Rutherfordton, NC; and his stepgrandmother Joyceann Rhein of Levittown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in James's memory to Adult & Teen Challenge, 33 Teen Challenge Road, PO Box 98, Rehrersburg, PA 19550.
