He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn J. Michalski (Pawling); his parents, Joseph Michalski and Anna Michalski (Andrus); and his son John J. Michalski, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa M. Schrift (Rodney K.) of Sinking Spring; his grandchildren, Chase J. Schrift and Zoe A. Witt-Michalski; and his sisters, Jo Anne Bernhart and Marilita Michalski.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
