He was predeceased by : his parents, John A. Shirk Sr. and Helen Shirk (Glenlast). He is survived by : his wife Dona Shirk (Ely) of Exeter; his children, Richard A. Shirk, Eric S. Shirk and Theresa Grieff (Derik Winner) of Antietam, PA; his sister Patricia Marmontello of Fleetwood, PA; his grandchildren, Brandi, Sierra, Kayla, Tatum, Alexandra and Clayton; his great grandchildren, Declan and Avery; and his pet Bella.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Catharine's or St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church.
