Jose Gandia Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Gandia of Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Gandia and Julia Nazario; his stepdaughter Glenda Vega-Ortiz; and his brother Tomas Gandia. He is survived by: his children, Jose A. Gandia, Gilbert J. Gandia (Sara), Noel Gandia (Marta) and Rebecca Gonzales (Peter); his sister Lydia Gandia; and his stepdaughters, Vivian Perez (Steven), Maria Perez (Benjamin) and Carmen Mata (Jose). He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
With the change in COVID-19 restrictions, those who have not been vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask at all times in the funeral home. Out of caution we ask that those with compromised immune systems, undergoing chemo therapy or are elderly please consider wearing a mask for your own safety.
