He was predeceased by: his mother Gayle Kastenbaum (Levin). He is survived by: his father Michael Kastenbaum; and his siblings, Dr. Hannah Kastenbaum of Philadelphia, Kate Holsapple (Kevin Holsapple) of San Francisco and Isaac Kastenbaum (Allison Mansueto) of New York City. He is also survived by his extended family, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
