She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Francis and Nora Cain; her son Matthew; and her brother Rev. William Cain S. J.. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Clare Dunkle-Moser (Robert Moser), Catherine Scrimgeour (James Scrimgeour), Benjamin Dunkle (Jeanne Dunkle) and Buffalo of Brian Dunkle, S. J.; her siblings, Mary Collier and James; and her sister-in-law Mary Cain. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
