He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Snyder Slater and Anna Slater (Reichardt). He is survived by: his wife Irene A. Slater (Lucas); his daughters, Gail H. Erwin (Dennis L. Erwin) of Broomfield, Colorado and Michelle Renee Slater Gibson (Jason Eric Gibson) of Muhlenberg Township; his granddaughter Renee Michelle Gibson; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Firek of Reading.
