He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Kay Ortiz (Woodring); and his parents, Jacinto Ortiz and Ventura Poventud. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Cruz (Luis) of Wyomissing, Elsa Ortiz Wise (Michael) of Clarion, PA, Jeffrey Ortiz of Reading, Debra Linton (Kerry) of Sinking Spring, PA and Stephen Ortiz (Jaimie) of Mount Bethel, PA; and his brothers, Jacinto Ortiz Jr. and Brian Woodring of Reading. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
