He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Distasio (Lamm); his children, Marcie (Joseph Promutico) of Reading and Douglas, Jr. (Laurie Distasio) of Reading; and his grandchildren, Douglas III, Katie Bennethum, Briana McMichael, Joseph Promutico, Jordan Weiss and Zachary Weiss. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
