He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bialek and Claire Bialek (Grabich). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Szeman Bialek; his children, Timothy Bialek (Nadine Bustos) and Tammy Bialek; and his siblings, Nancy Kemble (Ed), Lynn Cochran, Richard Bialek (Donna), Moxie, Milo and Zoe.

Memorial donations can be made in his memory to the 11th Hour Rescue by way of inmemof.org.
