He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Miller (Angstadt) and Bertolet L. Miller. He is survived by: his wife Sharon K. Miller (Bagenstose); his daughters, Shelley Schaeffer and Kami Lyn Miller-Rupright (Nathan); and his stepchildren, Catherine Curnow and Ronald J. (Sara Curnow). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
