She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert J. Shuman Jr.; and her parents, Clarence J. Seidel and Helen E. Seidel (Heffner). She is survived by: her children, Gregory A. Shuman and Cheryl L. Schell (David). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zions Spies Evangelical Reformed Church, 318 Spies Church Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
