He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Mary Allen (Schneidenwind); and his parents, Winslow E. Allen and Anna Allen (Disney). He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey M. Allen of Lancaster, Lisa Allen Thakur (Manavendra Thakur) of Washington, DC and Christine E. Allen of New York City; his sister Elizabeth (James Allwein) of Palmyra; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Schneidenwind of Palmyra and David Schneidenwind of Reading.
