He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth E. Buckholz (Houck); his sisters, Ruth and Florence; and his parent William E.. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas W. Buckholz, Reading Buckholz, Tony L. Buckholz and Sinking Spring; his grandchild Hana M.; his spouse Maciej Pyzik; his daughters, Nora and Saphia; his parent Ruth J. Buckholz (Levan); and also, Reese J. Buckholz, Nicklaus W. "Jack" Buckholz and Mary Hagemes.

He was extremely active in his local communities and was always quick to help when asked for his time, products and monetary donations.
