He is survived by: his children, William L. Kalbach, Jr. of Kansas, Rebecca A. Werley (Kalbach) of Reading and Stephen S. Kalbach of Kansas; and his grandchildren, Marlee Haig, William Dusing and Steven Kalbach. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
