He was predeceased by: his spouse Damenica M. "Mamie" Faistenhammer (Barbaro); his parents, Ludwig Faistenhammer, Sr. and Mary Faistenhammer Karban (Kurz); his son Col William L. Faistenhammer; and his brother Joseph Karban.
He is survived by: his daughters, Josephine "Joie" Shue (James) of York and Mari Akers (Stanley) of Evergreen, CO; his grandchildren, Matthew Shue (Amy), Christine McManamon (Christopher), Bradley Akers (Kristen), Emily (Akers), Riney (Shaun) and William Faistenhammer; his stepgranddaughter Mattie Gilday; his great grandchildren, Patrick McManamon, Sarah McManamon, TJ Shue, Callie Shue, Rosie Riney and Cora Faistenhammer; and his daughter-in-law Linda Faistenhammer.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. (35 Gotham Pl, Red Lion, PA 17356). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (2935 Kingston Rd, East York, PA 17402). A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
