He was predeceased by : his parents, Darlington Swartzell and Mildred Swartzell (Schilling); his mother-in-law Jessie O. Houser (Romig); and his sister Joyce Starr. He is survived by : his wife Angela Swartzell (Houser); his children, Kenneth R. Swartzell Jr. (Kathleen) of Reedsville, Matthew R. Swartzell (Lisa) of Mechanicsburg and Breanna R. J. Swartzell (Hunter Amrhein) of Reedsville; his grandchildren, Kenneth R. Swartzell III, Hope E. Swartzell, Ryan G. Swartzell, Avery M. Swartzell and Quinn M. Swartzell; his siblings, Evelyn Dimeler (Merle) of Del, Ralph Swartzell of Colo and Jeanne Minnich of Camp Hill; and his grandson Kenneth III.
