Virginia Marie (Parkes) Weaver Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Marie (Parkes) Weaver (Reedsville, Pennsylvania), born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin G. Parkes and Alice M. Parkes (Lannen); her parents-in-law, James S. Weaver, Sr. and Marjorie W. Weaver (Walk); her stepmother Betty J. Fisher-Parkes; her son-in-law Michael A. Jones; her brother A. Earl Parkes (Eleanor); and her stepsiblings, Holly Wilson and Melvin Fisher.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maile Peachey (Duane) of State College and Shannon Medich (Bryan) of York; her grandchildren, Liberty, Kamille Peachey, Lily and Kallie Medich; her siblings, Roger Parkes (Connie) of Reedsville, Norma Soccio (Vince) of Lewistown and Melvin Parkes (Carol) of Milroy; her stepsister Lori Yarger (Bob) of Centre Hall; her husband James S. Weaver, Jr. of Reedsville; and her extended family, Gary, Carolyn Weaver of Tyrone, Larry, Sharon Weaver of Port Matilda, Terry, Donna Weaver of Strodes Mills, Sheila Weaver of Hanover, Ashley, Linda Weaver of Tyrone, Bill and Mary Jenn Dorman of Port Matilda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
