She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Kochel and Esther Kochel (Matz); and her husband Ray Showalter. She is survived by : her daughters, Delphine (Dale Drake), Denise (Roger Touchberry) and Dorinda; her close friend Arnie Hess; her sons, Dean (Heidi) and Dana (Holly); and her brother Eugene Kochel. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandson.
