It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George W. Lyle of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda Lyle (Braniff) and Harvey Lyle; and his wife Naomi M. Lyle (North). He is survived by: his children, Doug Lyle (Dee) of Punxsutawney, Dave Lyle (Colette) of DuBois and Dianna Kennedy (Steve) of DuBois; his grandchildren, Jason Bochert (Jen), Jeremy Bochert (Katrina Brown), Cory Hartman (Kristy), Dayna Mack (Seth), Derek Lyle (Jaycee Martinchek), Zack Kennedy (Mariah Smith), Jake Kennedy (Alyse Saylor) and Lauren Kennedy; and his great grandchildren, Miles Bochert, Grace Bochert, Caroline Hartman, Carson Hartman, Camilla Hartman and Laneden Lyle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Deeley Funeral Home (33 Hillcrest Dr, Punxsutawney, PA 15767). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of George, to Music in the Park, 301 East Mahoning Street, Suite 2, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
