It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Whelpley of Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Pifer and Alma Pifer (Hillis); and her spouse Russell Philip Whelpley. She is survived by: her children, Michael P. Whelpley (Kathy) of Reynoldsville, PA and Lu Ann Vogt (Michael) of Auburndale, FL; and her brother Howard E. Pifer (Dianne). She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to be made in her name to the Reynoldsville Library, the Youth Sports Leagues in Reynoldsville, or to the Reynoldsville Ambulance Company.
