He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kerekes and Anna Kerekes (Patrick); and his siblings, Irene, Dorothy, Anna, Elsie, Louis and Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa (Caputo); his children, Lauren Burns (Jonathan) of Lancaster, PA, Matthew Kerekes (Kaitlyn) of Raleigh, NC, Robert Iacaruso (Susan) of Crofton, MD, Michelle Spence (James) of Morristown, NJ and Chris Iacaruso (Anita) of Washington, DC; his sister-in-law Rose Kerekes of Lakewood, OH; and his grandchildren, Charlotte, Lydia Burns, Lisa Tavares (Nicholas), Jennifer Carr (Derek), Nicholas Iacaruso, Harrison Spence and Ashley Iacaruso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Hills Chapel (404 Walters Ave, Johnstown, PA 15904). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Benedict Catholic Church (2310 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15904).
