He is survived by: his son Ronald Phipps Jr. (Christie); his granddaughters, Rachel, Reagan and Raley Phipps; his great grandchildren, Blake and Brynlee Morrow; his siblings, Albert Phipps (Shirley), Adam Phipps (Christy), George Phipps and Shirley Bailey (William "Bill"); his close friend Brenda Ramper; his friend Pittsburgh Steelers; and his pet Oscar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
