He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. and Grace Cowan, Sr. (Richardson); and his spouse Gaye E. Rush. He is survived by: his children, Tim Cowan (Nina) of Ridgway, Leslie Retzer of Ridgway and Mike Cowan (Kerrie) of Ridgway; his grandchildren, Kirsten Galsick (Matt), Kyle Retzer, Kaleb Retzer (Katie), Jordan Leithner (Jake), Dustin Cowan, Max Cowan, Madeline Cowan and Jack Cowan; his great grandchild Henry Leithner; his brother James Cowan (Lisa) of Julian, PA; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Cowan of Monongahela, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
