He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Garion and Helen Brendel (Weinhold); and his siblings, Marie Tamson "Dolly" Pauley (Brendel), Janet Miller (Brendel), Wister G., Ruthanne Brendel and Margery D. Ritter (Brendel).
He is survived by : his wife Nancy L. Brendel (Mentzer); his children, Eric S. (Joy A. Brendel) of Newmanstown, Michelle B. "Shelly" Enright of Robesonia and Trevor W. Brendel of Robesonia; his grandchildren, Clarissa A., Rachel E. and Darrien W. Brendel; and his siblings, John R. "Jack" (Helen), Katherine M., Linda L. Roth (Brendel), Nancy S. Morey (Irv) and Arthur William "Bill" (Joann Brendel).
