He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia May Mowrer (Rutter); his parents, Walter Mowrer and Lillian Merkey; his siblings, Clarence, Walter, Dale and Dorothy; and his close friend Sam.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda M. Davis, Scott A. Mowrer (Cindy), Lisa E. (Mike Caruso), Linda J. (Jerry Dyer), Kevin M. Mowrer (Donna), Terry E. Mowrer (Ashley) and Duane D. Mowrer (Karen). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
