He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Vries and Jenny De Vries (Haringa); his wife Carol De Vries (Stratton); his brother Phillip; and his son David.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald, Howard and Doris Lunsford (De Vries); his sons, Daniel (Carol) and Jonathan (Tamara); and his daughter-in-law Nancy De Vries (Schoenberger) of Eagan, MN. He is also survived by six grandchildren and a great grandchild.
