He was predeceased by: his parent Henry I. Shartle; and his sister Diane Imboden. He is survived by: his spouse Elaine M. Shartle (Ulrich); his parent Margaret R. Shartle (Reed); his daughter Stefanie; his spouse Cory Schneck of Sinking Spring; and his grandchildren, Austin and Alexa.
