He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sterbank Wendel; his sons, Richard Wendel (Beth) of Robinson Twp and Martin Wendel of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Richard Andrew II, Abigail and Amelia Wendel; and his sister-in-law Ruth Wendel of St. Mary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
