She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Kathleen and Robert Evans; and her mother-in-law Joyce Wheeler Shelton. She is survived by: her parents, John J. Goulait of Virginia and Dawn Evans Goulait of Rochester; her husband Travis B. Wheeler; her sister Kathleen E. Papuga; her brother-in-law Joseph Papuga of Pittsburgh; her nephews, Grayson and Liam Papuga of Pittsburgh; her close friend Michael McMillen of Patterson Heights; her father-in-law Jack H. Wheeler Jr. of Chippewa; and her grandfather-in-law Hattie Gitts of Monaca.
