Anita W. Thornton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita W. Thornton (Rochester, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 24, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patsy Pizzella and Caroline Carr Pizzella; her husband Albert H. "Herch" Thornton; her grandson Bradley Thornton Liebentritt; and her siblings, Lena Spada, Dolly Bonomo and Alfred Pizzella.
She is survived by: her children, Patti (Jim Liebentritt), Carolyn A. Thornton and Kim H. Thornton; her brother John; her sister-in-law Pat Pizzella; and her close friend Martha Edge. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, there will be no visitation; however, a Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 10 a. m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester Twp., for family only.
