She was predeceased by: her parents, Welty Vensel and Hazel Vensel (Williams); her husband Robert Byron; and her sister Bernice Hagofsky. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah McCracken (Charles) of Bradenton, FL, Karen Greenhouse (Thomas) of Savannah, GA and Barbara Blake (Charles) of New Sewickley; and her brother Gerald Vensel of Kentucky. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
