He is survived by: his parent Margaret Cowie (Shoaf); his wife Kay Cowie (Mateer); his children, Dayne Null (Isom), Barb McClain, Amy Cowie (Elmer Wiles), Melisa Hall (Raymond), David Cowie Jr. (Nicole), Fred Cowie (Jacquelyn), Matthew Cowie (Lea) and Christopher Cowie; his grandchildren, Drew Null (Kylie), Joel Null, Philip Null, Isaac Cowie, Abby Cowie, Jacob Cowie, Anna Cowie, Madelyn Cowie, Gabriel Cowie, Nicholas Cowie, Jaira Cowie, William Cowie, Kaycie Hall and Ayden Hall; and his brother Raymond Cowie (Kathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
