He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer E. Sr. Fox and Sharon Lutz Fox; his wife Constance L. Fitch Fox; and his siblings, Eugene, Robert, George Fox, Sarah Shrum and Margaret May Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa A. Fox of Gibsonia, Carey E. Fox and Jay Shrum of New Brighton; his grandchildren, J. R., Belinda, Caprise and Tori; and his great grandchild Cora.
