He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stang and Viola Measel Stang; his former wife Sandra M. Stuart Stang; his brother Charles Harley; his sister-in-law Jean Stang; his sister Shirley; his brother-in-law Mike Jurich; and his stepbrothers, Donald L. Haney Sr. and Charles Hill.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward E. (Becky Stang), Pulaski Twp and Richard D. (Brenda Stang); his grandchildren, David M. Stang (Megan), E. J. Stang, Ryan Carpenter, Chad Carpenter (Kaylin), Christine M. Shutey (Kyle), Rhea Stang and Kayla Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Aiden, Owen Stang, Hunter Shutey, Lexie and Kora Carpenter; his fiancé Frankie McKay Hogue; his partner's children, Shawn and Tracy Hogue; and his stepsister Barbara Hill.
Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, the family is having receiving of friends, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 1 - 3:30 PM in the Rehoboth Evangelical Lutheran Church, Economy Borough, where services will be held at 4 PM. Everyone must wear a face mask, and limited to 50 people.
