He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Stephen and Mary Julia Hovanec (Jahoda). He is survived by: his wife Alberta Mae Hovanec (Ziegler); his children, Ray Hovanec (Nikki Knox) of Bear, DE, Michael "Mick" Hovanec (Ellen) of Memphis, TN and Terri Coons (Jeff) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandson Raymond Hovanec, Jr.; his great grandchild James Hovanec of Fairfax, VA; and his siblings, Robert Hovanec (Blanche) of Ambridge, Shirley Foley (Tom) of Delray Beach, FL and Dolores "Dolly" Zoller (late Joe).
