He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Mayer and Frances Mayer (Mihalow). He is survived by: his wife Vickie (Hartung); his daughters, Suzann Miller (Kenneth) of Wexford, PA and Sandra Faricellia (Jonathan) of New Sewickley Twp; his grandchildren, Gavin, Dominic, Natalie, Dylan and Carmella; and his siblings, Tom Mayer of Ambridge and Denise Lint (Earl) of Defuniak Springs, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services; however, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, in Sonny's honor.
