He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Restak and Pauline Restak (Palakovich); his son Thomas Paul Restak; and his siblings, John Restak and May Ann Ciani.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Restak (Tomaino); his daughters, Karen Restak and Kathy Collins; his grandchildren, Michele Pickard (Corey) of Chippewa, Ernest Michael Grillo, Jr. and Donald Patrick Collins of Warrendale; and his great grandchild Brayden Thomas Pickard.
