It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Phillips of Roseto, Pennsylvania, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles D. Phillips and Etta A. Phillips (Pritchard); his wife Eva Phillips (Policelli); his siblings-in-law, Alphonso Zito Jr. and Anna James; and his godson Robert "Bobby" James.
He is survived by : his daughter Angela Herrlinger (Phillips) of Nazareth; his grandson William "Will" Herrlinger of Fountain Hill; his sister-in-law Marie Zito (Policelli); and his nieces and nephews, Alphonso Zito III (Lucille), William James (Kathryn), Concetta Rinker (Zito) and Susan Williams (James).
He was married to his soul mate Eva (Policelli) Phillips for almost 68 years before her passing in May of 2020 from complications of the Coronavirus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Columbia Fire Company No. 1 of Roseto, Pa.
