He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Betty T. Senge Switalski; his children, Brian Switalski (Debra), Susan Vincent (Edward), Eric Switalski and Lori Coleman (Joseph); his grandchildren, George, James, Troy, Noah, Matthew, Brooke, Gillian, Joseph (Jess) and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Branson, Taylor and Chloe; his siblings, Patricia Schaffold, Donna Neff (Bob) and Bruce Switalski (Debra); and his siblings-in-law, Katherine Trozzo, Ann Marie Downey, Edward Senge (Dana) and Frank Rubolino.

In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
