She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva N. Mallory (McCarty) and Robert E. Mallory; her daughter Melinda Elbel; her granddaughter Brianna Galentine; and her siblings, Irene Jones, Jeannette Seidinski, Marian Wilhelm, Jane Cameron, Helen Greenawalt, Joan Pearce, George, Thomas, John, William, Richard and James Mallory.
She is survived by: her husband Jay Elbel; her children, Paula Elbel of Indiana, Donald J. Elbel of Punxsutawney, Beth Giroskey (David) of Punxsutawney and Joy Elbel of DuBois; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hill (Jack) of California, Donald E. Elbel (Heather) of Glen Campbell, Tyler and Evan Giroskey of Punxsutawney; her great grandchildren, Donald E. Elbel, Jr. and Tavia Henry; and her sister Ruth Peace of Punxsutawney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
