He was predeceased by : his wife Virginia Lee O'Neal (Thornton); his parents, Pierce O'Neal and Vera O'Neal (Baggett); and his grandson Jacob Joseph Kovach. He is survived by : his daughters, Rebecca Lynn Kovach (James Joseph Kovach) and Terri Lynn Smith; his grandsons, Jeremy James Kovach, Tyler Allen Smith and Thomas Jarred Smith; and his siblings, Charles Patrick O'Neal and Rosa Marie DeFransico (Anthony).
