She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Johnston and Lulu Johnston (Butler); her husband Wallace E. Stafford; her son Eugene Stafford; her great grandchild Joshua VanSickle; and her siblings, Paul "Punk" Johnston, Ruth Trowbridge and Merle "Mike" Johnston, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Elaine (Larry VanSickle), Monalee (Fred Johnston), Duane (Jimona Stafford), Diana (David Cook), Yvonne (Richard Guilds) and Mary (Lorry Butler); and her daughter-in-law Mary Alice Stafford of Catawba, NC. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; many many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a great great great granddaughter.
