He was predeceased by: his parent Enda Brown; his wife Elizabeth Brown; his children, Robert Taylor, Jr., Ronald Taylor, Betty Jane Taylor, Florence Swift and Rose Shute; and his siblings, Marvin and Arlene Brown.

He is survived by: his son James A. Brown (Betty) of Honey Brook, PA; and his grandson James (Debbie) of Honeybrook. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
