He was predeceased by : his parents, William D. Maurer and Ellen Maurer (Clarey); his siblings, Ellen Polansky and William Maurer; and his brother-in-law Brian McCrea.
He is survived by : his sister-in-law Janet McCrea. He is also survived by his 7 nieces and nephews and many cousins.
