She was predeceased by : her father Merle Herbstritt; her brothers, John "Jack" Herbstritt and Joseph "Buzzy" Herbstritt; her grandson Jesse Johnston; and her son-in-law Chuck Johnston.
She is survived by : her mother Marcella Leightner Herbstritt; her husband Ken; her children, Tim Salter (Patty) of St. Marys, Pam Johnston of St. Marys and Luke Salter (Missy) of St. Marys; and her grandchildren, Tara Hnath (Tony), Shane Johnston (Angela), Kenny Salter (Tristin) and Shelbi Salter (Alex Dykes). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions may be made the Penn Highlands Community Nurses Hospice or the Elk County Humane Society.
