He was predeceased by: his parents, L. E. Whiteman, Sr. and Winifred Hartman Whiteman; and his son Larry E. Whiteman, III. He is survived by: his wife Sara Burden Whiteman; his sons, Mike Whiteman (Leah) of St. Marys and Mark Whiteman (Vicki) of St. Marys; his grandchildren, David (Mia), Devin (Miranda), Alison Werneth (Kevin), Jake and Sara; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Alexandria, Maeve Whiteman and Leila Werneth; his brother Harry Whiteman (Peggy); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Simons (Gray) and Wray Burden (Patty). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
