He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Wendel and Bernetta Schreiber Wendel; and his son Gregory Wendel. He is survived by : his wife Christine Miles Wendel; his friend Clem; his children, Connie Wendel (Jason A. Smith) of St. Marys and Brandon Wendel of St. Marys; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan Pontious and Colton Wendel; and his brother Larry Wendel (Anita) of St. Marys.
