He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Francis and Sara Powers (Volkstadt); and his brothers, Charles and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (English); his sisters, Patricia Steves and Mary Elizabeth Hajduk; and his children, Brian, Jeffrey, Vincent, Thomas, Cletus, Madeline (Cantu), Barbara, Jeannine (Prindle) and Erin. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Funeral mass and further celebrations of Francis' life will be held after the pandemic recedes.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to Windber Hospice or St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, PA.
