He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Swinehart and Florence Swinehart (Wagner); and his sister Kathryn Bletz. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" A. (Little); his daughters, Kathy Fagan (Lee) of Craig, CO, Karin Long (Vincent) of Sandy Hook, KY and Kristal Winner (David) of Loyalsock; his grandchildren, Kyle, Kaleb, Krislyn, Kariann, Brady, Makenna, Bryce and Erin; and his brother Bob (Patricia) of Jersey Shore. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
His family suggests contributions in his memory be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 315 Thompson Street, Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
